World Stock Exchange

I heard about this in the last issue of the avastar. The World Stock Exchange lets you purchase and sell stocks of companies within the world of second life. You can also register your own company to raise some capitol. I was thinking about doing it just because its the geeky thing to do. Then I realized ... I don't really need to raise money and have a bunch of people screaming at me to do things. I'd like to do things the way I like. Perhaps I'll look into trading existing companies though. I wonder how this works out. The systems currently down for a while due to a merger. I just hope they don't lose my 1 L$ that I deposited. From Dedric Mauriac via blogHUD
